Combined Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy

It is not uncommon to undertake both these procedures during your hospital stay the standard preparation for colonoscopy is required as above the procedures undertaken under sedation fasting requirements and the need for transport home is as previously discussed (see colonoscopy ).

The combining of these procedures is very helpful in excluding diseases affecting both the upper and lower digestive system.
